RCA prides itself on its commitment and dedication to the development and growth of players in all aspects of their cricket – also offering guidance and teaching in upgrading their skills off the pitch. The Academy is focused on equipping them for life.
Under the leadership of Lance Roudenko, the RCA has successfully grown since 2011 and established its footprint in the cricketing community. With a membership that has extended to 160 over time and growing, Lance and his team of assistant coaches/staff continue to invest in the bright future of young cricketers.
BRIEF HISTORY
The Academy’s beginnings began with a keen group of 11 young cricketers under the guidance of Lance, playing in the Warehouse Winter Cricket Competition. Since then RCA has been represented with 3 to 4 teams in both senior and junior competitions each year. The Winter Pathway Program is unique, and provides excellent opportunities for the development of players.
Alongside this, the RCA has also been affiliated with overseas tours to India and Sri Lanka in the past 5 years. RCA has also proudly been represented by individual players overseas in Canada and the UK.
The RCA also is proud of its inclusivity of all cultural and racial backgrounds, having the multicultural approach to cricket reflected in its membership base.
